Assumption Chapel is a breath-taking renovation of the former Church of the Assumption, founded in 1921 by the Service Fathers. The exterior of the chapel is modeled after the old Spanish mission-style; the interior of the chapel is a serene combination of high, sky-blue ceilings and shimmering gold highlights. We are delighted that we were able to preserve and restore the church's original historic stained glass.
Assumption Chapel serves members of the Catholic faith as well as other faiths. A priest in-residence administers the sacraments to the faithful. Weddings, funerals and other liturgics may be celebrated in the chapel for residents. Daily and Sunday Mass are celebrated for Assumption Village residents and their guests.
